In the morning, departure from your hotel and take the longest cable car ride in Europe from sea level all the way to the top of Mount Tahtali in the Olympos mountain range. Standing at an impressive 2365 meters above sea level, it gives an amazing panoramic view of the coastline and surrounding. Marvel at the scenery before descending and stepping back in time to the age of pirates and ancient Lycians at the historical harbor town of Phaselis. See the arches of ancient shops, roman baths, water channels and Hadrians’ water gate to mention just a few. The Tahtali Aerial Cableway is, at 4,350 meters in length, the longest of its kind in Europe, and the second longest in the world. Be sure to bring your camera with you to capture the unforgettable views from the top with its 360 degrees viewing platform. Back down at sea-level you will explore the fascinating and picturesque town of Phaselis. Once an important harbor town and scene of many pirate attacks, Phaselis now proudly presents its history to visitors and your guide will tell you its many mysteries and secrets as you are led through the ancient cobbled streets. The ruins of the Roman baths and water channels are particular highlight. After that we will have a lunch in Ulupınar region. Ulupınar village was established on the skirts of Olympos mountain. It is famous for its lush nature and natural water springs from which it derives its name. The name Ulupınar is formed by the merger of two names, which means great and gigantic spring, and a clear water source. Many facilities and trout farms have been established among lush green trees along the Ulupınar Stream in the region. There are many pergolas built on the tea water. Ulupınar is peaceful and cool heaven on earth with its various long annual trees that make up its magnificent nature and its gushing waters. After the lunch, we will drive back to our hotel.
