Cappadocia Green (South) Tour

We will pick you up from your Istanbul hotel lobby and convey you to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. Take a flight to Cappadocia from Istanbul Airport. Arrival in Cappadocia and meeting at the airport just outside the arrival’s gate with a sign bearing your name, followed by transfer to the tour starting point, where you must meet and depart for your tour.

Hiking through one of Cappadocia’s most picturesque valleys, Rose Valley, reveals the region’s iconic rock-cut churches. Cavusin is a historic Greek hamlet full with Christian-owned homes and churches where you may get some rest. After lunch, you may go out Ortahsar Castle, which looks a lot like Uchisar Castle and features some amazing storage caverns. Explore the underground city of Kaymakli (also known as Ozkonak) in the afternoon, where early Christians hid from persecution. Stop through picturesque Pigeon Valley on the way back, where pigeons provided a vital service to the people by fertilizing their grapes with their droppings. You may also visit a nearby winery to sample some of the excellent Cappadocia wines.
